About Psychological Assessment

A psychological evaluation is a structured process used to assess a person’s mental health, emotional functioning, cognitive abilities, personality traits, and overall psychological well-being. It involves the use of standardized tests, clinical interviews, and questionnaires to gather comprehensive information about an individual.

The purpose of a psychological evaluation can vary — it may be required for official reasons (such as medical commissions, employment screenings, or educational assessments) or simply for personal understanding and self-development.

During the evaluation, Ale or Raul carefully analyzes the collected information to identify strengths, challenges, and potential areas for growth. Based on the results, a detailed psychological report can be issued, which can support various official requests or guide future personal and professional decisions.

Additionally, this service can include 10 intervention sessions, or more if needed, depending on your individual goals and progress.

Frequently Asked Questions

This service is dedicated exclusively to Romanian people, whether they live in Romania or abroad.
Ale and Raul are working under supervision — meaning they are accredited by the Colegiul Psihologilor din România to conduct psychological evaluations, but their work is closely supervised step-by-step by an experienced psychologist to ensure you receive an accurate and professional psychological assessment.
We can issue official psychological reports with a stamp and seal (for various commissions or official purposes), or we can simply provide an evaluation if you are curious about a specific aspect of your life.

Children
Special needs children (e.g., ADHD, autism)
Adults
Elderly individuals
You can come to us either if you have personal questions and want to better understand yourself, or if you need an official psychological evaluation for various commissions (such as disability commissions, medical assessments, or other official requirements).

The structure may vary depending on the issue you’re facing, but generally, the process looks like this:

First session: Focused on completing psychological tests.
Second session: A clinical interview to better understand your background and current situation.
Between the second and third sessions: We interpret the data and write the psychological evaluation report.
Third session: We discuss the results of the evaluation and, if you wish, we can create a personalized action plan for the future.
(Optional) Sessions 4–14: Psychological intervention sessions, if needed, based on your goals and the evaluation findings.

Not at all. The psychological evaluation is not an exam, and there are no “right” or “wrong” answers. It’s simply a way for us to better understand your situation, your strengths, and any areas where you might need support. You are not being judged — the goal is to create a safe, relaxed space where you can be yourself. We’re here to guide you through the process with care and respect.

It’s natural to feel a bit uncertain, but remember, the psychologist is there to guide you through the entire process. The results are just a tool to help you understand yourself better. If anything feels overwhelming, your psychologist will be there to support you, explain the results, and help you make sense of them. The goal is to help you feel empowered, not more lost. Besides that, you come to the assessment because you want to make a change in your life, and this is your first step. It can bring clarity. I can’t promise that everything will be okay right away, because you’re in a process, and at first, it can be difficult. However, the next steps with the psychologist are designed to offer you support and guidance. You can also benefit from 10 additional intervention sessions to help with your specific challenges.
